About

Hi! I'm Maggie.

Allow me to introduce myself...

Originally from Ithaca, NY, I can attest that it's true what they say: Ithaca is gorges. Not only did growing up there develop a cherished love and appreciation for nature, but my childhood prepared me for a career as a singer and musical theatre actor, and now I'm over 20 years into professionally living my joy. My late father, my favorite man and a singular spirit, inspired me to start singing seriously when he introduced me to my all-time favorite, Susan Tedeschi, along with other major inspirations like B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Bonnie Raitt. My dad would belt and wail on the blues with me, passing down the gift of soul-seeking music. Balancing out the genres, my mother plays classical piano, dabbled in guitar, violin, and saxophone (I'm probably missing some), and also has prime musical taste in her DNA. She showed me Janis Joplin, Schubert, Les Miserables, Beethoven, Jimi Hendrix, My Fair Lady, Bob Dylan, Jesus Christ Superstar...they all stayed with me, and yes, my playlists are wild. My upbringing had a soundtrack, and it featured ubiquitous, excellent music.

Grateful and indebted to those two lovebirds!

Formally, I received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University, graduating magna cum laude. Since then, I've performed in Philadelphia, New York City, Las Vegas, Pigeon Forge, Phoenix, and across Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. For the past decade, I've called the greater Philadelphia area home. (Go Birds)

Some favorite memories:

+ New Year's Eve 2022 - When I performed Katy Perry's “Firework” in Times Square. After the countdown and ball drop, I stood in the enormous window of the Renaissance Hotel, looking out over the famous red staircase and NYE crowd, in the first minutes of 2023. Hands down, most memorable way I've rung in the new year.

My Fair Lady - Eliza Doolittle was my first Broadway role obsession, and playing the part once wasn't enough; I dream to take on this epic, complicated part again. The first time I sang in front of a couple dozen classmates at 7 years old, my choice was Wouldn't It Be Loverly?. I had stage fright at the front of the classroom, but persevered, excited that everyone would want to watch My Fair Lady after hearing it. Surprise, surprise, they did not! I'm blessed with footage from my production, though, and it's been a treat to be able share with enthusiastic fans all over the world via YouTube
